![]() ![]() St.Petersburg Team Blitz Championship GMChess staff filled up by champions only Ordinary World Championship No 14 A. Khalifman, 10 times St.Petersburg Blitz Champion grandmaster A. Kochyev, 5 times St.Petersburg Blitz Champion, St.Petersburg Veterans Rapid Champion master G. Chepukaitis, fishing champion V. Skobelev, the programmer of our site, our general manager K. Mashkov, the head of all events and population director. In the near future he is going to become a father of twins. Also our responsible editor, legal expert, reporter and typist T. Lungu who is also a charming girl, apart from all her professional virtues. Then, an ordinary Russia under 20 Champion, no grandmaster (so far) E. Shaposhnikov. There was no doubt that this team would win the Blitz Championship. So it happened, although we played against titled opponents, grandmasters and masters, there were only no more champions. The father to be took the Victory Cup home to have it decorated with an appropriate engraving. We hope this cup will stay ours for more than one year. The GMChess Team shared the prize fairly to celebrate the Victory Day properly. G. Chepukaitis You may find some photos from St.Petersburg Team Blitz Championship here |
